Job Summary:
The Marketing Research Analyst will be responsible
for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to help the company understand
market trends, customer behavior, and the competitive landscape. This role
involves digging into trending keywords, survey responses, social media
mentions, research, sales data and more to inform and support the marketing and
sales teams. As this is a new position within the company, the analyst will
design research methodologies and a reporting framework to support strategic
decision-making. With a particular focus on the food industry, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record making
a measurable business impact within high-performing marketing teams. This
position reports into the SVP of Marketing and Communications.
Key Responsibilities:

Data
collection tools: Gather and manage data from an array of sources,
including surveys, social media platforms, keyword trends, sales data, and
audience insights. Use SurveyMonkey, Google Trends, SEMrush, Power BI, Shopify, Byzzer, and Klavyio- among
other tools.

Data Visualization and Reporting: Succinctly summarize, share and
present findings to variety of leaders at various levels within the company to
demonstrate ‘why this data matters’. This role
requires strong data visualization to create and use data dashboards or data
analytics suites to convey important findings. Experience with Power BI,
including Python and R scripts.
What we’re looking for:

Proficiency in statistical
software (e.g., Python NumPy, SciPy and Pandas; R Tidyverse)
o Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Ability
to interpret complex data and present findings clearly
o Creation of analytics testing Pan (AB Testing, One
Armed Bandit, etc.)
o Presentation creation
o Knowledge of market research methodologies and
techniques
o Track record of demonstrating ROI and business
impact
o Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
o
Tool knowledge of Power BI,
Shopify, Byzzer, Survey Monkey, Klavyio, Google Analytics, Meta channels and
other marketing platforms
o Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic team
environment and collaborate with various departments
o Experience in grocery, CPG (Consumer Packaged
Goods), or related food sectors.
o Strong understanding of retail dynamics, consumer
behavior, and food industry trends.
o Creativity mixed with strong execution.
